Identity: Your inner self influences the outer world

Your identity determines many of your feelings and state of mind, and that affects the reality around you. In fact, your identity creates a set of thoughts, feelings and actions. That’s what makes you unique, too.

The thought you have is the viewpoint of the process of thinking, feeling and doing.

If you are not satisfied with life right now, change begins with adjusting your identity, the thoughts and values with which you identify yourself.

What is your identity?

Your identity is everything that makes you who you really are. This is determined by everything in your life: your upbringing, by norms and values in the country you grow up in and so on. Everything you experience shapes your identity.

In addition, your identity is about how you look at yourself and how you feel you can do something for yourself. For example, what skills you have and how much influence you think you have in being able to change your situation. So very essential: believing in yourself.

You can also look at your social identity under identity. What “group” of people do you belong to and what role do you have in life? Growing up, this is often still easy. For example, you are a scholar or student. When you go to work your name has a certain title and by that title you do things, but what if that no longer works for you?

Then you end up with, among other things, Erik Erikson’s view of identity. Every time you get some kind of inner conflict in your life, it’s time to change your identity so you can move on.

For example, consider the moment when you go from child to adult, because you no longer primarily listen to your parents for making life decisions[1].

It is also essential to know that when you have inner conflict that you emit confusion and doubt into the quantum field. This is because you focus your attention on this aspect. Energy flows away, because of this you unconsciously or consciously cause delays in what you want to manifest. You are left with less energy to create something new in your life.

My personal identity change

Over 22 years ago, the belief “I have arthritis” was part of my identity, but that also kept me sick. As a result, at the time I was diagnosed with this, I was not taking the steps necessary to get better. I was among the sick people who couldn’t do anything about their situation. I felt dependent and not at all someone who could take leadership of her own life.

Not at all a convenient and fine identity. Indeed, according to quantum science, what you see also depends on what you are conscious of[2]. Your identity largely determines what you are focused on and what you do and do not notice in life.

If you see something around you that you don’t like, so you should actually change this consciousness, but how do you change your consciousness?

That was a challenge I faced myself.

After a few months, I was tired of “being sick” and thought: this is not going to happen to me. I started to transform myself, by changing my identity. I changed first mentally and did everything in my power at the time to saturate myself with new knowledge about human potential, information about the body’s self-healing ability. I learned how my mind and visual power could help with this.

I learned all about the gut and arthritis. Partly because of the new information, my brain created new patterns (a new neurological network) and structures that supported identity. “I am healthy” and “My body is healing” were part of that new identity.

This helped give myself space to delve into ways and techniques I could apply myself to be healthy. Then suddenly I could see solutions to my challenge. I became aware of positive steps I could take.

I discovered that plant-based foods helped me keep inflammation levels low, which made the symptoms disappear. I delved into what plant-based foods could do for my body and mind. By changing my identity, I was able to change my behavior. And going deeper changed all my thoughts about nutrition and the body.

Being happy affects your brain

The very best part is that I felt so good, that I became happy with my new lifestyle. I was satisfied with myself and felt happy. And a nice touch is that plant (organic) foods carry a high energy vibration/frequency. This means that you stay or come even closer to your quantum self.

So this all came initially by first changing my identity.

And that has a positive effect. Initially in your brain, as mentioned above. Being happy activates the medial prefrontal cortex, which is much more active in people who are happy than people who are down. That activity creates more positive emotions and a better sense of well-being[3].

I radiated a positive consequence and because of this I attracted other positives. This gave wonderful chain reactions. My sense of self-confidence grew because I could take steps on my own and not depend on others. In doing so, I was able to continue to live in line with my own values. According to research and my own experience, this is an important condition for taking advantage of more opportunities in your life, both private and business [4].

As I increasingly adopted a vegan lifestyle for my personal health and well-being, I simultaneously became increasingly aware of several positive consequences. Consider the suffering of animals in the food industry. Therefore, I also decided to stop supporting certain practices and industries by not buying (as little as possible) animal products.

I also realized through this shift in consciousness that my mental health was also strengthening. There are all kinds of health, climate and environmental benefits to becoming vegan. Also nice to know (having done several studies) is that replacing animal products with plant products reduces the risk of certain types of cancer, other chronic diseases and heart disease, anxiety and depression. Feeling happy influences your environment

Those happy feelings cause you to vibrate in the quantum field , and that has positive effects (or impact) on your environment. So you see effects in the outer world because you first changed your inner self.

The only way to change the outside world is to change your inside world first.

Other research shows that companies where staff are happy tend to do better than companies with unhappy staff[5]. Scientists in quantum mechanics also believe that emotions have influences that can lead to synergy[6].

I see this myself with my own business and with people I work with. Because I provide happy vibes, it positively affects collaboration, and people I work with also remain in negative feelings for less time.

MultiLaw of causing a consequence

The MultiLaw Causing a Consequence, therefore, also addresses how you yourself can begin your identity to cause a particular consequence. Do you want more positivity in your life? Then start with yourself to cause this positive consequence.

Look to yourself to bring about change and see how it impacts the environment around you.

Continuing to do what you did with your old identity will not cause an effect different from what you already have.

Steps to change your identity

For me, it was the move to think very differently about myself that triggered an identity change and new reality.

But what can you do to change your identity?

Initially, it is important to think about the desired consequence. What do you want to achieve? More success? Live somewhere else? Feeling a certain way? Look a certain way?

By having clarity about the goal, you can immediately create more clarity for yourself about the identity that goes with it.

When I thought about “being healthy,” it made me act like someone who thinks it’s important to eat healthy and exercise and be athletic. That’s how my identity changed.

On the contrary, if your goal is “I want to be a successful manager,” then look at what beliefs, thoughts and behaviors go along with that. Ask yourself: how does a successful manager behave? Then you can delve into, for example, how to influence people in a friendly way instead of being an authoritarian boss.

It all depends on the desired consequence.
